In August 2023 My son Arthur was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, a complete shock to all the family and something we were not expecting or prepared for.

From the day of diagnosis we have been supported by JDRF who have helped us transition from our old everyday life to what’s now the new normal, living and coping with this life changing autoimmune disease.

This year I’m pleased to be joined by my brother Peter, who himself lives with type 2 diabetes, as we take on the LLMH to help raise much needed funds and awerness for the JDRF charity.
