Story
Update:
After 9 courageous months, Alexander passed away peacefully on Friday 24th March 2023 surrounded by his family at home.
He was nothing short of a hero in our eyes, and inspired so many with his positivity, determination, and strength. He managed to influence people to sign up to become blood and stem cell / bone marrow donors to help those who are unfortunate enough to experience a life-altering illness too.
Following in Alexander's charitable spirit, we have decided to keep this fundraiser open in his honour to allow those who wish to do so, to keep donating. All proceeds will be donated to Children with Cancer UK to continue helping all who are affected by cancer.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, and take comfort that Alexander's legacy of helping others will live on.

My eldest son, Alexander, was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma called Burkitts Disease.
He is currently undergoing a very intense bout of chemotherapy in St Bartholomew's Hospital.
As a result of this treatment, he has lost his hair. He used to love dyeing his hair all different and vibrant colours, and so to honour his recent transformation, I have decided to dye my hair pink and raise money for the charity of his choice.
He has chosen Children with Cancer UK as he wants to help all the children affected to have as much support, and an increased chance of survival. He knows that facing cancer as an adult is a scary time, however he understands how much scarier it is for a child and their support system.
At Children with Cancer UK we actively raise and invest money for vital specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their family together. Our vision is a world where every child diagnosed with cancer gets to ring their end of cancer treatment bell.
All donations, no matter how much, are hugely appreciated and will go towards making such a difference to every child affected by cancer.
