Katie sadly passed away after a brave battle against neuroblatoma an aggresive form of cancer of the stomache. Having been friends and work colleagues with her dad for a few years her story and bravery touched many hearts. Doctors and nurses of both gt ormand st and harlow princess alexandra hospitals who treated katie all tell how such a character she was and an inspiration to ever she met. Her family recently arranged a charity football match against an arsenal legends team and raised over 7 thousand pounds.this is when I started to read about the great work, commitment and cost the charity needs to help these sick children.
