Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have seen at first hand the great work Care Home staff and Home Carers provide. It is very upsetting to see that they do not have the protective equipment they need during this Coronavirus outbreak.

I am a 74 retired Major.  I have been inspired by 99 year old Captain Tom to contribute something to this essential service.

I recently had my hip operation cancelled due to this crisis.  Despite that, and other health issues, I plan to walk 2.6 miles, twice per week, until I have walked the length of a Marathon - 26.1 miles.   It may take me some time but my aim is to raise as much as I can for the NHS.

Please dig deep and help me to help them.

Thank you

Major John Paterson O, OSt J, TD
