Story

Now recovered from several injuries. I have decided to participate in this year's Ocean city marathon. A bit late in the day, but here goes.

But I am running on behalf of many friends, who suffer from Crohns or colitis. Trudy, my partner,is one of those sufferers.

At least 300,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with IBD which are chronic conditions that can cause ulceration and inflammation in the colon (Ulcerative Colitis) or any part of the digestive system (Crohn’s Disease).

Many of these individuals suffer in silence, not revealing everyday pain  Internal bleeding. the taking of anti cancer drugs. The stigma of having a stoma ( a hole in their stomach) to allow for a colostomy bag, because  some of their bowel has had to be removed, fatigue.

Dynamo, the magician, pictured above, suffers from the condition.

Having attended some of their events now this last year, I would love to raise some money, for a cause that's not so publicised, but affects so many..

Please help. Anything will be so greatly received.
