NRAS works to support the 450,000 people living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and the 10,000 children and young people living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), their families, friends, carers and the healthcare professionals who treat them.

Story

After completing the metric century cycle around central Scotland back in the summer of 2020, I'm back on the bike - this time aiming for the imperial century around the streets and suburbs of London.

I've chosen the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), to support my partner's 7 year old daughter who has Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). As with all conditions, she has her good days and bad days, but this brave little soul puts up with weekly injections to manage the pain in her leg. If she can do that, then I can struggle through 100 miles in the saddle to help out.

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) is here to support all those living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) to allow them to live their lives to the full.
