Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I want to raise funds for the Cordwainers Charity of the Year, the Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC).The Cordwainers have been strong supporters of the RSBC for over 70 years, and has its own charitable trust. It will remit all funds donated including Gift Aid to the RSBC.
The RSBC is a wonderful charity whose patron is HM The Queen.
They do fantastic work to give blind and partially sighted children the best possible chance in life. I am also a Trustee of the RSBC.
I aim to walk a third of a million steps during April in order to raise funds for the RSBC. I am making good progress to date and have already completed over 300,000 steps since 1st April, getting fitter and leaner in the process! I have accordingly increased the target steps to 420,000!
I really hope you will support me in my endeavour by making a donation. Being blind or partially sighted affects over 20,000 children in the UK. It can be a harrowing and difficult time for families. The RSBC works to alleviate the distresses and enables young people and their families to cope better, gain confidence and achieve to their full potential.
100% of monies raised by Cordwainers, including Gift Aid, will be used to support the RSBC with their new Life Without Limits Centre opening in the second half of 2021.
