I will be playing the part of John Clarke in Street Theatre's production of Calendar Girls (6th - 9th March). John was the inspiration for the Rylstone WI ladies famous nude calendar. He was a much-loved character who died tragically early from non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The chemotherapy treatment that he endured during his battle with lymphoma led to complete hair loss - hence the shaving of my hair, beard, moustache and eyebrows. The 'ceremony' will take place on Saturday 2nd March at 1.15 pm. Photo updates to follow!
