There was a  late change to the original line up... Phil dropped out cos he's too old... and Tom and Juliette decided to join me and Paul at the last minute.

The ride went well, much faster pace given Phil had dropped out ;)...  

The weather could have been worse, it threatened to rain, but kindly held off.  The hardest part was the last ten miles along the coast road heading through Lytham and Saint Annes, it was quite blustery and we were riding into the wind.

However, we all enjoyed the day, and Carmel and Jayne contributed by sorting out food and booze for us on our return back to Preston.

The Just Giving site is open for donations for another couple of weeks, so come on folks... don't be shy...

All money raised will go to The Christie who gave excellent care and support to the much missed Alan Pilkington during his life after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
