Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. I will be running & raising money for children like Ella Frith and Ben O'Brien.
Ella - the little girl in the white coat in my photo - was diagnosed in February 2007 with an aggressive brain tumour. In September of that year & having had three operations in a matter of days, she was given given 2 months to live. Since then she has endured intensive courses of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in a bid to halt the cancer. Against the odds she is now 12 years old & remains a happy little girl.
Ben, a fanatical football fan & the little boy on the left of my photo, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer after his mum noticed he was passing up playing his beloved football due to pains in his leg. Sadly, in 2012 he underwent surgery to remove his leg. Despite this, he has boxed on many Charity Boxing Shows & is an inspiration to everyone who meets him
Since December 2007 my gym - Sheffield Boxing Centre - has raised £41650 for Sheffield Children's Hospital. It would be brilliant if we could raise enough money from the Philadelphia Marathon to take it over the £42K mark
Because I'm paying all of my own expenses, everything that's raised will go to the ward that's treating Ben & Ella. So please dig deep and donate now.
