In February 2018 I was given a rather surprise bit of news out of the blue in that at the age of 53 I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had already spread to other parts of my body. Prognosis was not good and I was told by the Oncology team to organise my remaining life in terms of weeks with chemotherapy offered as a palliative measure. Since then I have made the most of my time remaining and have fulfilled a lot of ambitions.

Along the way I have received fantastic help, love and support from the fantastic North Devon Hospice who I cannot speak highly enough of. I'd like in my time left on earth to help them offer their services to others so that they too can be helped. Any money donated goes directly to them.
