Story

It is just over 12 months since I lost Linda to Cancer. Her greatest fear was that she would not die at home, however her wish was to be granted, but not without the help of her NHS Care Team and the assistance of Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland.

To show my gratitude I am and will continue to volunteer, where I can, to help raise funds and awareness. However I now have a project with which I require some assistance and hope you may be able to help me in some small way.

The Hospice are holding a charity walk to the top of Blencathra, to see the ‘Sunset’ on Friday 18th, August and I am hoping you may be able to sponsor me.

I have enjoyed Fell Walking over many years and Blencathra is a fell I walk up frequently as it is very accessible. However the Charity Walk is taking a slightly more strenuous route than I normally take and a ridge I have not traversed before.

If you feel able to help me I would be grateful if you could sponsor me via this page. Thank you. John
