I am raising money for the Royal British Legion because I was elected Chairman of Durham County Council and Mayor of the City of Durham for the year 2018/19 which also coincided with the centenary of the end of World War 1.  The Royal British Legion supports all our service personnel and I feel we should give back to those who have given so much to all of us.

I intend to stretch my comfort zone to its furthest limits by taking part in  a tandem parachute jump at Peterlee Parachute Centre, on 4th May 2019.
