Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm cycling 101 miles taking part in the 'King of the Pennines' event on Sunday 3rd September and hope to raise a few quid for St Andrews Hospice in Grimsby in the process. The hospice has catchment area covering Hull & East Riding and all of Lincolnshire.

St Andrews is a childrens hospice that cares for kids and young adults who have a progressive, life limiting illness. Children and young people use the hospice predominantly for respite care, either for the day or for a planned in-patient stay.

The annual running costs are in the region of £3 million (£1.3 million for childrens services and £1.7m for adult services), the majority of which is funded from voluntary donations and fund-raising. The hospice is a god send to the often terminally ill children/young adults and their families so please give generously.
