Thanks for taking the time to vist my just Giving page
I am off next week to climb the highest mountain in Africa at 5,895m by the toughest route. It seemed a good idea last October when with some old friends from school we were celebrating my 50th. There are 5 of us all 50 now we decided to do something special to mark the occasion how we moved from a golf weekend to climbing a mountain ??after the fourth pint I expect.
What is clear is we wanted to do something for charity and with my son being a little Downs Syndrome boy who they knew by linking it to Theo in some way would be great ...Theo is pictured sitting with our adopted Gran
I have chosen Parc http://www.parc-essex.co.uk/Parc-Essex/Welcome.html..I they provide support and a couple of hours fun a week in a safe environment to ALL disabled children..they have over 300 on their books..like all small charities they struggle from year to year to get funding .
I am amazed when I go there to see how big the smiles can get on these little people.

I know its a tough time out there but if you can spare anything every penny you contribute is going to the cause,as we are paying for everything ourselves.Including putting ourselves back together again!!
It would be much appreciated by me and the children of Parc
Thank you
