Reasons for me doing this is that the hospice staff and everyone connected to it ,help everyone regardless of who they are. My mother and father in law spent many days and nights there and were made to feel like kings and queens . Remembering these staff have there own lives to deal with , the amount of time and patience they put into each individual is absolutely outstanding. I felt very humble to watch these guys go about there business with a smile on there face whilst dealing with patients who were terminally ill . I know that my mother used to look forward to going there and sharing many stories with the staff and being pampered for the day, i have no doubt that this gave her great strength to carry on whilst in considerable pain. Without the many charities that fund this it would not be possible for any of the patients to have some quality time in there life, for that reason alone that is why i would like the opportunity to give something back to help others like my mother and father in law enjoy a little quality time before there illness takes over.
