I am committed to Christian Aid because it gives practical support and a sense of hope to so  many people whose plight most of us find hard to imagine - those facing the effects of war, persecution, earthquakes, floods and famine. The funds are used to such good effect -i.e. £50 buys a cooker for  homeless refugees; £5 a nutritious meal for 2,  £100 provides re-training for farmers struggling with drought.And it's work in around 40 countries is all done in the name of the Servant King.
