Story

Thank you for looking at my page. (If you haven't got time to read it all would you take a look at the Birthday 11 bit at the end ) This is my 4th fundraising event in recognition and memory of our lovely granddaughter Emma. It's now 3 years since she died, having spent the previous 5 living with leukaemia.  We miss her every day but we remember her with love and pride for the strong, brave , loving and hilarious little girl she was. She had the great knack of taking the mickey out of people (mostly me) with a big grin that made it impossible to be offended. She loved her family, her friends, her school and teachers and her medical staff. In return she was loved immensely.

This year she is 11 and she would have been starting high school. We attended her Y6 leaving service in July. That was hard but she was specially remembered. The final song was 'The Climb', a Miley Cyrus song and one of Emma's favourites, played at her funeral. If you know the song and what it describes, you'll understand why she took it to heart. There was always 'another mountain'

If you can sponsor me then thank you . I know there are loads of charities out there and lots of other claims on your money. Either way, thank you for reading. It helps keep Emma's memory alive.

In recognition of her 11 years, if you can will you add 11pence to your donation. Or maybe if you're giving 10 make it 11? I will count up the extra Birthday 11s and send the equivalent from my own money to a children's charity. Not sure which yet but I'd like to support something else too. 😀🐏

Oh.....I have sheep photos too 😂🐏. You are lovely people. You deserve sheep.
