Story
Tosh Fielding MBE has convinced 53 women, from around Stockbridge Village and other Knowsley and Liverpool communities, to join a flourish and succeed fitness challenge to climb/walk the 10.5 miles of the Fairfield Horseshoe Pass in Ambleside on 28 April.
They are all raising money for the Owen McVeigh Foundation who create life memories for children who are ill with cancer and their families in the Merseyside area.
The women have all been training since 5 January attending twice a week at Stockbridge Community Sports Pavilion including some weekends and a number of 5k park runs. They have been working on their fitness, mindset and overall wellbeing and the results have been amazing including weight loss, smoking cessation and reductions/cessation in alcohol. They are fitter, happier and stronger than they have been for many years.
I am joining them in their efforts at 10.30am and it should take between 6 and 8 hours for them to complete the climb/walk. If you would like to sponsor me and more importantly help children suffering from cancer to create a wonderful life memory then please use the donate button and give as much as you can.
Thank you.
