We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running the Chester Half Marathon in aid of the Stroke Association. I have chosen this this charity because, both my sister Susan and brother in law Michael have recently had strokes, and I want people to know it's not just older people that have strokes, it can happen to anyone.

The Stroke Association provide ongoing support, advice and information at a time when families are struggling to come to terms with what has happened.

My wife Jane works with the team in the Chester branch and I know exactly how hard they work making sure people get the right support and services.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep because one day you will know someone who will need thier support!
