We support families affected by MSA to increase knowledge of this condition

Story

Data City Exchange are joining our development partners Aggmore, on a thigh burning, fat busting European bike ride on May 24th 2012.

I am slightly concerned as the last time I was on a bike on a road was 21 years ago on my way to school, so I fully expect to be walking like John Wayne for at least 2 weeks afterwards, IF I make it to Bruges in one piece that is!!

Pleaed dig deep as every little helps!

As a team we have been set the challenge to cycle from London to Bruges in 36 hours. We set off on the morning of Thursday 24 May 2012 and cycle 75miles from South East London to Dover and catch the ferry to Calais. On day 2 we will jump back in the saddle and cycle a further 75miles from Calais to Bruges. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for the Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Trust (http://www.msatrust.org.uk/). MSA is a progressive neurological disorder that affects adult men and women. It is caused by degeneration of nerve cells in the brain which can result in problems with movement, balance and automatic functions of the body such as bladder and blood pressure control. The Multiple System Atrophy Trust is the UK’s support and information service for people with multiple system atrophy, their families and carers. It also funds research into the treatment and causes of MSA.
