The Team LMV (London to Mont Ventoux) will be taking on this huge bicycle ride to raise money for, and also awareness of The Epilepsy Society, and what it does for people with the illness. The feat will be ridden in only 10 days!

In most circumstances patients need 24 hour attention from the nurses and care staff. Day to day living can be very dangerous for someone with extreme epilepsy. In kitchens and bathrooms awful accidents are waiting to happen.

 

Many of the Centre's residents have multiple seizures on a daily basis. The Chalfont Centre offers them an opportunity to live a relatively independent lifestyle. The residents have access to gardening and creative classes, special projects and rehabilitation therapy. They gain confidence, make friends and have a sense of achievement, community and fun. This is all thanks to the hard work and dedication of the incredible staff, doctors and volunteers.
