We provide emergency shelter and tools to support families overwhelmed by disaster

Story

Hello Everyone

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you are aware, Shelterbox is a Rotary-based charity which aims to fill the gap in aid provision and get the basics for living to stricken areas of the world within hours.  It works!  It saves lives!  But it needs your help.

My rowing mates and I are going to row the Great River Race on 5th September - 22 miles up the Thames from Greenwich to Richmond.  We have done this before - but downhill!  This is going to be seriously difficult!  Our average age is 58!  We would like to be able to pay for at least 2 Shelterboxes - so please be generous!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.  Thank you in anticipation.
