I have been unable to do any of the fund raising activities so far this year so when I received an invitation to Race The Sun, the opportunity had to be taken.

On September the 1st I shall be cycling 50 miles, talking a walk and crawl up Helvellyn (950 Metres) in the Lake District and canoeing 2.5 miles around Lake Thirlemere. The idea is to start at dawn and finish before sunset.

I am 1/4 of a team 2 ladies and 2 gents, the Team is called Vixen Star because originally it was an all lady affair but they had a couple of drop outs which is how I got the opportunity.

I know you will support this venture and you can be sure in the knowledge that this is going to be a tough ask. Walking up and down hills is not something I have done a great deal of so please did deep, because I will have to!
