Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Please support me and help to accelerate vital research and support for Brain Tumour Research' tireless campaigning to influence greater national investment and ultimately find a cure for brain tumours. Together we can accelerate vital research and support our tireless campaigning to influence greater national investment and ultimately find a cure for this devastating disease, which caused the death of my sister, Julie Wilson.

We have already created 3 Research Centres of Excellence at key UK universities and we aim to open a further 4 by 2025. This will allow us to build the critical mass of evidence needed to accelerate towards finding a cure. However, for context, each of these centres costs one million a year, that's £2,740 per day to operate. This provides a relentless challenge, and one we are only able to meet with the continued generosity of our community, partners and supporters like you.

I'm aiming to raise £2000,  which might reach £2740 with Gift Aid, by swimming 2740 lengths. Please will you give your support? Thank you.
