Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Although we do not fit the typical profile of cyclists, John and Tim have done a few long distance rides with other friends over the past few years, such as Calais to the Med, across Ireland, around the South of England. Having talked about riding across the USA for some years we decided that we should just do it and it would be great to raise some money for a charity. So on the 2nd June we travel to Astoria in Oregon and start our ride on Saturday 4th June. All being well we will reach Yorktown, Virginia on Wednesday 10th August having cycled over 4,100 miles and climbed over 162,000 feet.

Our training has been ramping up and you can see some of the things we have been up to on Instagram @johnandtim_transam_2022. We will be posting each day during the trip.

We have chosen to support Mind as we all know people who have been challenged by mental health issues and have needed support. If you feel able to make a donation we would be very grateful as would the charity.
