Peru Cycling Challenge 2007 · 28 April 2007 ·
Between 28th April and 10th May 2007 we will be joining around 30 (equally mad) people cycling from Lake Titicaca to Machu Picchu in Peru. We will be cycling for 6 consecutive days covering 445 km and reaching a high point of 4338 metres (14,232 feet). As well as cycling at alltitude apparently there are no hotels - tents and sleeping bags instead!!!!. The event and the months of training through the winter will be tough however we are doing it to raise money for an excellent cause - Macmillan Cancer Support.
We have set ourselves a joint target of £6,000 - however we hope we are able to achieve much more than this. Anything you can give to make this happen will be very much appreciated by us both.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
