Charterhouse-in-Southwark is a grant-making charity that supports the children of Southwark that are at the lowest end of the economic and social scale. We fund a variety of local registered charities that provide a range of projects to meet the needs of children and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Sponsorship page.

It has always been a personal goal of mine to complete the London Marathon and 2011 seemed the right year to 'bite the bullet'. So, I've been pounding the streets in all weathers in preparation for this challenge. (As you know, my body is a temple, so this has been quite a shock to the system!) This is all for a good cause, however, and in this era of austerity and cuts, I could think of few charities more deserving of support than Charterhouse-in-Southwark: a local charity that provides educational, health, care and youth services to those at the lowest end of the economic spectrum in the London Borough of Southwark.

Please dig deep to support this worthy cause and thanks again for your generosity.
