I have long wanted to do a tandem skydive but when my husband was alive he didn't want me to do it. Tom died two years ago and so, at the age of 76 and a new hip in place, I will be able to fulfill my dream. Next year I have planned to visit my cousins in New South Wales, Australia. I haven't seen them for nearly 60 years. I have already booked my skydive for 12 October 2013. Like many people I know, I have sponsored children's education through the Save the Children Fund and I thought that the fulfillment of my dream could also be a way of supporting this excellent charity.
