DOING 5K FOR LINDSEY LODGE HOSPICE IN MEMORY OF MUM

This January we are setting ourselves a goal of 5K with an aim of running the full distance at the end of the month - all to raise money for Lindsey Lodge Hospice in memory of Hollie’s Mum, Jill.

Jill passed away peacefully on 13th September 2022 at Lindsey Lodge Hospice surrounded by her family. Far too young, but having dedicated her life to family, we remember her each day. A much-loved mum, wife & friend whose loss is felt each day.

There are no words adequate for this unexpected loss so soon. Jill was a pillar to the family, both her immediate loved ones, those distant, and those chosen. An invincible and constant presence who made the effort and the time for everyone.

Hollie & Jarred are currently in the worst shape of their adult lives. Covid, asthma, creaky knees… you name it this year has brought it, atop everything else. We’re not your natural athletes, but there’s no time better than now to face a physical challenge to mark the incredible work those at Lindsey Lodge do.

LINDSEY LODGE HOSPICE provided an incredible and welcome environment that allowed us and Teddie to be together at the most difficult time of our lives. The care and respect shown for all of us will never be forgotten. Allowing us to be together in comfort and peace, honouring her wishes, is priceless. The work they do is entirely for free, reliant on donations. Truly, we believe that no one can understand how touching and vital their exceptional work is, for when the unbelievable is happening.
