London Marathon 2017 · 23 April 2017 ·

We provide emotional and practical support to families with a seriously ill child.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My little cousin Joel Moyes passed away unexpectedly on the 10th February 2016 surrounded by his family. I've been wanting do something in memory of him ever since so I will be taking part in the London Marathon on April 23rd 2017.

I am running on behalf of the children's charity Rainbow Trust who have been incredibly supportive. Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child aged 0-18 years of age with a life threatening or terminal illness and need the bespoke support they offer.

I will be joining an estimated 36,000 participants pounding the London streets for 26.2 miles. This is not going to be easy but Joel's memory will give me the strength to get through.

I am hoping to raise £2,000 which will go a long way to help the good people of Rainbow Trust support the families and the estimated 49,000 children and young people in the UK living with a life limiting or life threatening condition who may require care.

Any donation would be a greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Andre
