Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page once again and Yes i am back for round 2.

Firstly i would like to thank everyone which has sponsored me last year and yes i did start to quit smoking and the jogging did carry on for a bit longer, but me and work and work and me seem to have taken up most of my time, so here i am back for round 2. If you want to remember the day last year, have a look at my previous link http://www.justgiving.com/JoeTang.801496

Training was good this year and i did loose some weight and reduced my waist by approx 1 inch (haha!) but at the same time, i did end up doing some real stupid things, including jogging home from work with no money or osyter card (hence, either jog home or walk home, or never get home) Yes! Before you all laugh, i did make it. :)

Unfortunately, this years run, i doubt i will get anywhere near my race time last year, due to bad knees and ankles. I know what you all thinking, I'm chickening out, aint i? Well, in all honestly, i have been to my GP and he advised i have very flat feet (now you thinking everyone has it! ) Well he did say it is very common, but the frame work of my feet is beginning to collapse when i apply too much pressure which causes extreme stress to other areas of my feet, legs and joints and hence, completely wrong biomechanics when walking or jogging.

Dont worry, i will still be aiming to complete the race as fast as i can, if if i dont make it by running or jogging, then i will revert to walk or crawl to the finish line :)

Why am i doing it? To help a London Child once again (Stop it! i'm not sponsoring knives, more like opportunities and the homeless)

So now you bored of reading, dig down deep and find me some coppers, silvers, golden nuggets or those crispy notes and sponsor me now.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: GCap Charities - Help a London Child gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you inadvance for all sponsorships and i wish you all a happy and fun living year to come.

Joe
