Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I like my running, especially ultra marathons (50 miles +) which I only started doing this year, over the next few months.

Every penny counts, together we can make a difference.

We are continuing to raise funds For a little hero called Freya who is 8year old. She was born with Cerebral palsy, two holes in her heart and fought through 4 major operations in her short life.
Freya has to use a wheelchair everyday of her life but she still has time for a smile and boss Darren her Dad about.
Freya has undergone SDR surgery in Jan 2018 which we have thankfully raised funds for with help from Family, friends and people like yourselves. This was to sever nerves in her lower spine releasing a good proportion of the tightness in her muscles, allowing her to move around a little better and removing the daily pain Freya was in.
For the operation to be a success and due to the severity of Freya's cerebral palsy she requires many years of intense post op physiotherapy. This along with the SDR operation is not funded by the NHS and costs between £160 and £240 per week.
Hopefully these funds will provide the essential physiotherapy, specialist equipment, adaptations and any other required therapy activities for Freya. With help from yourselves you will be supporting the next chapter in her life and giving her the best possible quality of life which she most rightly deserves.
Freya is an absolute star and inspiration. She is my hero and I want to be able to give her the best possible chance to enjoy life, develop and not just exist, maybe one day become an independent young lady.
