Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have a personal challenge and will walk 100 miles in May for homelessness and mental health.
I am very lucky to be safe and healthy during this pandemic and live somewhere with space to freely walk and pass minimal people. this is not the case for everybody. Many people are struggling at this time. They have no safe place and maybe be suffering major illness and mental health.
It is easy to forget when we are safe and secure that it can all change. I have suffered with my own mental health and was it not for close friends and family, it would've been so much harder
This is what St Basils are, the lifeline for the people with nowhere else to turn. In crisis this charity help people back onto there feet and support them through difficult times.
I want to walk this 100 miles, not only for the charity. I want o walk this 100 miles to show myself how far I have come. How strong I am. On that final day when the counter rolls over to 100miles will mean so much to me.
