Event: The University of Manchester's Virtual Purple Wave, on 6 September 2020
We need your help to create a state-of-the-art cancer research facility - right in the heart of Manchester, which will save lives and re-write the future of cancer.

Story

On 6 September, I'll put on my running shoes and take part in the Virtual Purple Wave, to support Re-write Cancer. The University needs our help to create a state-of-the-art cancer research facility, which will save lives and re-write the future of cancer. They'll bring together the largest concentration of scientists, doctors, patients and health professionals in Europe, all working together to tackle cancer head on. They'll re-write the future of cancer through advances in prevention, early detection and treatment to benefit people around the world. We're all feeling the devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic. But for cancer patients and their families, cancer hasn't gone away. So the University's ambition to Re-write Cancer hasn't changed. But with cancer research disrupted, our support has never been so important. Every pound I raise will help create this facility that will change, and save, peoples lives. Please help me Re-write Cancer by sponsoring me today. Thanks!
