Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

My Gran was awesome. Sadly she had Motor Neurone Disease and passed away. MND simply means your insides stop working. My insides still work, so I am going to walk to work everyday for a month and harass my friends and workmates to donate money and help research Motor Neurone Disease.

Update #1: You can track my progress over the month here: http://www.strava.com/athletes/2663613. Please follow me on Strava!

Update #2: Passed 100 miles! My calves have grown by quite a bit! Thanks for all the support so far.

Update #3: Damaged my Achilles Tendon. Having to take some emergency rest days! Will pick up any lost time in September. Hope you alI understand, better to rest now than damage it further!

Update #4: OK. I've walked 121.3 miles this month and have raised £200.40 which is super awesome! Unfortunately I damaged my Achilles and it did not like the walk home today as I now have another swollen ankle... I think that it may be time to call this challenge! Didn't quite make 200 miles, but I really have tried my best, and you've all donated to a great charity! Thanks to everybody for supporting this x
