Story
Thanks for your support with my 2020 give back challenges.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has led to a number of events that I was hoping to participate in being cancelled.
One of these was the Prudential Ride London on 16 August.
So I will now be cycling that 100 miles from the comfort of my back garden, on my training bike!
On the day, there will be Facebook Live updates, plus Lockdown Radio will be playing music during the whole of my ride - there might even be the odd interview thrown in!
Your support is much appreciated and thank you to everyone who has already donated. I want to raise as much money as I can for Rays, so please support where you can.
In May 2019 I was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. I continue to receive treatment, through intensive chemotherapy and I had major surgery in December last year.
In 2020 I have set myself sporting goals to give back and challenge myself. This starts with running the London Marathon in April. (I will also be cycling the London Revolution, Prudential Ride London and Palace to Palace.)
Rays of Sunshine have been incredibly supportive of me and my family, while I continue to receive treatment for cancer. This is about me giving something back and I need your support to make this happen.
My page donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. Its efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity. Let's do this!
