On July 19th, we will set off on a 3 day epic cycle ride from coast to coast - West to East. Whilst the UK C2C is a tad shorter than the US version, it is still a respectable 140 miles or so. We will start in Whitehaven on the West Coast (where by tradition we will dip our back tyre in the Irish Sea), cycle through the Lake District (hilly), the North Pennines (very hilly) and then through County Durham until we arrive at... Sunderland. There we will dip our front tyre in the North Sea, pay homage to Boaz's ancestors - and maybe buy a football team with our loose change.
