Story

I was asked to do a cycling challenge, and quickly said yes thinking how hard can it be?! Then I found out what it entailed....

Mountain Mayhem is the worlds largest 24hour relay race, and im doing it. At the time of writing this (27th April 2011) I dont have a bike, and havent begun training yet. I will pick up the bike tomorrow and have 50 days to go from a complete novice to completing one of the most challenge mountain biking competitions in the world.

In that 50 days we need to raise over £2400 (I am aiming for £1000 personally), ride 2400 miles and be injury free and race ready for the 18/06/2011 to ride, between us, day and night for 24 hours.

I am doing this with three other riders as part of the Base One charity challenge and we are raising money for the Shooting Stars Childrens hospice.

Any donations and messages of support are greatly welcome!
