Money raised in the 10K a day fundraiser will be used to set up a new local stammering group in Belfast to offer information and support specifically to young people that stammer as well as their parents. This group will be affiliated with the British Stammering Association (stamma.org) and we hope to have our first meeting this spring. The group will also offer funding for private speech therapy or other support to those who cannot get the help they need through the NHS.   25% of the money raised will go to the British Stammering Association to support their work creating a better world for people who stammer across the UK.
