Story
I am running the London Half Marathon in memory of my mum, Tracey.
Tracey was the most loving and caring Mum I could ever have wished for. She made me the person I am today and I am forever grateful.
The last few years had been tough for Tracey. She was diagnosed with Scleroderma - https://www.sruk.co.uk/scleroderma/ - and found isolating through lockdown particularly tough as it meant she could not be with the people she cared about.
It’s for this reason I’ve decided to run the London Half Marathon for SRUK. SRUK want to reach everyone affected by Raynaud's and Scleroderma and provide the support they need. Raising awareness of the charity and the work they do is key to that.
This is a cause close to my heart - any support you are able to provide will give me that extra boost to keep running!
