We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

I’m running the London Marathon in April 2023 for Alzheimer's Research UK because I want to raise awareness for a charity that funds support for people and their families who are dealing with the effects of Dementia.

It is an indiscriminate disease that will have touched many families including mine. This is a cause close to my heart having recently had a close family member diagnosed with early onset Dementia and Alzheimers which has made me more aware of the effects this disease can have on individuals, their carers and families.

I’m buzzing to take on the challenge of running my first ever marathon and contributing to the good work this charity is doing! If you would like to support me and this important cause then you can by donating. All donations are hugely appreciated and will go directly to the charity!

It will be great to support a UK based charity that funds research into the cause, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure of this disease.

Thank you!

Joe
