The Challenge

In June 2022, along with nine of my colleagues, I am planning to ride from our office in Kings Cross in London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris which is roughly 300 miles/480 kilometres. The journey will take place over the course of four days taking in the sights of rural Kent, Calais, along the River Somme and then into Paris to the Eiffel Tower along the River Seine. At an average of 75 miles/120 kilometres each day, I am sure there will be plenty of physical and mental challenges along the way, I will be documenting all of these on my Instagram page  (joes_ london_to_paris_cycle) if you would like to follow my journey!

The Charity

Family Action transforms lives by providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who are experiencing poverty, disadvantage and social isolation across the country since 1869. Today, they work with over 60,000 families a year in their 200 community-based services, as well as supporting thousands more through their national programmes and grants programmes.
