Story
I’m Running the ASICS London 10k in loving memory of Dylan Tombides. I first met Dylan at 15 years old playing for WHUFC the best young footballers I’ve ever seen, we started as agent and player but quickly along with he’s family turned into friends and my friendship with Tracey, Jim and Taylor continues today and always. I had the privilege to represent him from that moment onwards. I’ve personally been involved with DT38 from the start.
DT38
Our mission is to raise awareness and change the stigma associated with men’s health issues with a focus on testicular cancer. We aim to do this through providing educational programs and opportunities for the youth of our community, to help shape a generation of children who are self- aware about their health and wellbeing.
Our main goals are to:
- Drive the SELF-AWARENESS campaign for the early detection of testicular cancer
- Focus on youth EDUCATION through various teaching programmes aligned to national curriculum
- Provide OPPORTUNITIES linked to fun and accessible activities within the community
