On August 1st 2021 I will be taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon in the hope to raise  money for Alzheimer's Research UK.

This disease currently does not have a cure, nor prevention and with an estimated 1 in 14 people over the age of 65 and 1 in every 6 people over the age of 80 in the UK alone. 

Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia and may contribute to 60–70% of cases and speaking from experience is a heartbreaking thing to watch as a loved one goes through it, which is what has motivated me to take part in this event. 

Together we can make a difference and with each contribution this will bring us a step further to finding a cure.
