Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
Many of you who know me will realise the idea of me even thinking about running 26.2 miles would be ludicrous, however over the past few months and years, I have genuinely found great satisfaction in putting my trainers and getting out there
The idea of me running the Manchester Marathon was only a pipe dream a few months ago, however with the support of my family and friends, I feel that this is something that I can accomplish
My chosen charity is Cancer Research as my Father Tommy sadly passed away at the very young age of 71 in 1994 and he is still very sadly missed by all that knew him. I feel it would be very fitting that I can raise money so to help others who may be able to fight this terrible disease through Cancer Research and hopefully come through the other side
I do really appreciate your donations and genuinely feel embarrassed in asking you to spend your hard earned money on a cause that is so close to my heart
Much Love everyone and I hope I can do you all proud on the 10th October
Patrick aka Joseph McIvor
