We fund research, provide support, campaign to bring more than hope to those affected.

Story

A good friend from university; Steve (Wax) Loose is undergoing chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer, so Steve's team mates from Leicester University Men's Hockey Club, have madly decided to raise money for cancer charities with a 24 hour Hockey Challenge.

Now I keep reasonably fit but I haven't played Hockey for 23 years so 80 minutes would be challenging but playing a whole day from 8am to 8pm is an act of madness worthy of your support. At 8pm we hand over to friends in Australia to continue the challenge.

Please support me and this group of foolish 44 year old+ former Hockey players and I hope our effort can make a difference through some excellent cancer charities.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
