Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
27th April, 2012. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, cancer is a scary word - noone likes to hear it, luckily for me though my tumour was mainly cartilage and a 2 hour op later I was given the all clear the following month. It was a stressfuI ordeal, one where I was ever leaning on my friends and family and to this I owe so much!
The Brighton Marathon is on the 14th April - a couple of weeks from my year anniversary of the diagnosis, so it only seems right. I will be running for Cancer Research UK, so hopefully everyone else can be as lucky as me! The run is only 8 weeks away, with no training so far I've given myself a challenge worthy of sponsorship by YOU!
Please, any donation will help tremendously! Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer (and if you didn't, now you do!) and I'm sure you would do anything to take that pain away or bring that person back. This race and your sponsorship money is to stop that pain from happening to another person.
So please dig deep and donate now!
and if you can, put the date in your diaries and come along and cheer me on!
