Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dad passed away very peacefully on Monday 21st October. Dad was his usual funny, loving, storytelling self right up until the end. My sister and I were by his side when he died, chatting away.

He did not want any fuss so we do not want cards, or flowers, but instead want to ensure the Countess Mountbatten Hospice receives as much money as possible to help them to help other familes, as they have helped us with dad and also with mum.

Dad felt comfortable and safe at the hospice and really liked the food. He also liked smiling at all the lovely nurses.

Dad did not want a big funeral, so we will be arranging a good old trip to the pub in the next few weeks, where people can share their funny stories.
