Story
Hi all! So as many of you know sadly my dad passed away almost 4 years ago from a ruptured brain aneurysm. He suffered a terrible stroke in the lead up to his passing. Anyone who has had, or been associated with someone who has had a stroke will know the devastating impact it can have within minutes. I wanted to do something in memory of my dad and have decided to enter the Great North Run which is in September. It’s a 13.1 mile half marathon. All donations are to go to the Stroke Association. Any donation, no matter how big or small will be massively appreciated to go to this amazing charity. I’ll be thinking of my dad every step of the way but in particular that last gruelling mile which will be for him. Thanks again. #lastmilefordad
